The Level 0 Umpiring Course is aimed at anyone aged 14+ looking to start umpiring in a school or club environment.
WHERE
- Theory Component - Online
- Practical Component - Face to face at a local venue
On completion of the online Theory Component, candidates can register for the face to face Practical Component at local venues available.
WHAT
An in depth explanation of the rules of the game, how they are applied, followed by a practical component to ensure confidence in the role of an umpire.

- Infringements & Danger
- Penalties, Advantage, Personal Penalties
- Practical component to learn how to blow the whistle, signal correctly and where to be positioned in the field of play
DURATION
- Online Theory Component - Completed in your own time. (Approximately 2.5hrs)
- Face to face Practical Component - Approximately 90 minutes
ASSESSMENT
Each chapter has a short quiz and once completed you can progress to the next chapter.
Practical section is compulsory for certification.
Candidates who apply themselves throughout the course will receive their certificate.
